Pour l’année 2024, ce nouveau format de stage est proposée aux profils intermédiaires de travailler sur la fermeture de formes droites ou galbées. Les soliflores et boîtes étant des pièces récurrentes dans ma production personnelle, j’accompagnerai chaque élève durant ces trois jours pour aborder étape par étape les différentes techniques que j’utilise pour achever et parfaire ce type de forme. Le vendredi après-midi sera dédiée aux démonstrations et au tournage du cylindre selon mes gestes, pour ensuite aborder le galbe et la fermeture pendant la journée du samedi. Le dimanche sera consacré au tournassage. Chaque élève pourra conserver 3 pièces, que j’émaillerai selon la couleur choisie. Pour les personnes ne résidant pas à Paris, les pièces pourront faire l’objet d’un envoi, dont les frais seront facturés en sus.

Conditions d’annulations strictes :
Vous disposez d’un délai de 48h suite à la réception de votre paiement pour annuler votre inscription. Passé ce délai, vous pouvez annuler jusqu’à 7 jours avant le début du stage et recevoir un remboursement correspondant à 50% du tarif total. Au-delà des 7 jours, aucun remboursement ne sera effectué, et ce sans exceptions.

À prévoir par l’élève :
Un tablier ou une tenue qui ne craint pas les salissures et un torchon.
Les ongles courts sont fortement conseillés pour une expérience de tournage optimale.

Friday 2pm-6pm / Saturday 10am-1pm, 2pm-6pm / Sunday 10am-1pm, 2pm-6pm
For adults at intermediate level, open to English speakers
Capacity: 4 students max. per session
Price: €720 per person, including throwing equipment and high-temperature firing of 3 pieces max. per student
Each student will be able to choose a glazing colour from among 3 glazes from the workshop production (white, green, black) and the glazing will be done by me.

For the year 2024, this new format of course is proposed to intermediate profiles to work on the closing of straight or curved forms. As soliflores and boxes are recurrent pieces in my personal production, I will accompany each student over the three days to tackle step by step the different techniques I use to complete and perfect this type of shape. Friday afternoon will be devoted to demonstrations and throwing the cylinder using my own gestures, followed by curving and closing on Saturday. Sunday will be devoted to turning. Each student will be able to keep 3 pieces, which I will glaze according to the colour chosen. If you don’t live in Paris, the pieces can be sent to you at an additional cost.

Students should bring :
An apron or a smudge-proof outfit and a towel.
Short fingernails are highly recommended for an optimal throwing experience.
